Client and supplier accounts
Option 1: Client/supplier number
As soon as you have activated your client / supplier in the CRM, Poool customer or supplier numbers are automatically assigned. Your tax advisor will then work with the Poool client or supplier number.
Option 2: Manual entry of DATEV account
Of course, we can also take over the client or supplier number of your tax advisor. You can edit the client or supplier number manually under CRM → Address book
in the Client
or Supplier
tab and enter it under "DATEV account".
Revenue accounts for outgoing invoices (tax rate of the group)
The revenue accounts for outgoing invoices and the VAT rates can be stored under 'System → VAT' with the '+ VAT' button. If you are missing a tax rate or revenue account, you can add it at any time. Please only enter accounts actually required for outgoing invoices here (revenue from subsidies is rarely shown in Poool).
Default = this tax rate is automatically used as the default tax rate for outgoing or incoming invoices
VAT rates can be entered individually for each client when creating an offer. To do this, click on the group description and enter the desired tax rate. This is also possible for orders and outgoing invoices.
Of course, it is also possible to use multiple tax rates. However, a separate group must always be created for each tax rate.
Expense accounts for incoming invoices (cost allocation)
You can create the expense accounts for incoming invoices yourself under 'Settings → Costs & Targets' in the 'Cost allocation' tab with '+ Cost allocation'. Here too, only expense accounts that are actually required should be stored (expenses for taxes are generally rarely tracked in Poool).
For incoming invoices, you can allocate the expense costs to individual items by entering the desired account under Allocation.
All the important information for the accounting export is now stored and you can start your accounting export and send it to your tax advisor.
